The people of Central come from a wide
variety of backgrounds, walks of life and daily challenges in our homes,
at our workplaces
 and in our neighborhoods. We gather for worship,
Bible study, fellowship, community [in small groups], and mutual
encouragement. We view corporate church life as a necessary
supplement to our personal spiritual disciplines and development.
We encourage our
people to become involved in:
-
large group worship times of celebration and teaching,
-
smaller educational hour classes and various ministries to
different groups [men, women, mothers of preschoolers {MOPS},
Promiseland Preschool, single adults, ] for interactive Christian
life learning, fellowship and service,
-
Growth Groups [small groups] for caring for one another and
reaching out to the unchurched, and
one-on-one mentoring and leadership training opportunities.

Service Schedule
Since
each person’s spiritual journey is unique, we offer many opportunities
to serve and be served.
9:00
a.m. Education Hour -
age graded classes for all ages from newborn through adult
10:15
a.m. Worship Service - utilizing a worship band, a praise team, some drama and an expository Biblical
sermon, along with a Children’s church during this worship service
sermon time with age-appropriate lessons and small group discussion

A friendly and
caring nursery for sleepers, crawlers, walkers and talkers is available
during all services and all-church meeting times.
At the
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Educational Hour, we offer opportunities for every age group:

Preschool and elementary age Bible
classes
-
JOLT for
middle school students
-
ENCOUNTER for high school students
-
12 Adult Community classes from
which to choose
Our Growth
Groups [small groups] and other group ministries meet during the week at
various times and places around Siouxland.
For those
interested in becoming a member of Central, we have a
Membership
class
offered several times throughout the year. We encourage everyone to
become involved in a service ministry in order to become better
acquainted with others and to help provide the various ministries we
offer.
If you do not have a
church home, we’d love to incorporate you into Central. You’ll grow and
be supported by the rest of the family. |
