Central has been expanding its global mission outreach through sending and financial giving for many years. 

Sixteen of the twenty-one missionary families and agencies we currently support financially have been a part of our church in the past.

Likewise, our Faith Promise mission’s budget has grown from $16,000 in the late 1960’s to over $162,000 this current year. 

We believe that the combination of a strong exposure to the spiritual needs of our world through conferences and mission trips and a strong commitment to financially supporting our own who have followed the call to full-time service for Christ has created a growing mission’s emphasis at Central over the years.

We have missionaries in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Mexico and throughout North America.  Five local evangelical ministries – Alpha Center, Child Evangelism Fellowship, the International Center for Biblical Counseling, the Sioux City Gospel Mission, and Siouxland Youth for Christ are all supported by our church with money and personnel.  Our missionaries are involved with prisoners, students, the poor, Christian counseling, aviation ministries and new church plants.

Our mission goal is to do our part in fulfilling Jesus’ challenge to His disciples as recorded in Acts 1:8, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem [Sioux City], in all Judea [Iowa], and Samaria [United States] and to the ends of the earth [Every Continent].”  We are committed to giving our people exposure to mission fields so they can personally experience the great needs and how the gospel is spreading out over the earth.
